“Self Defense”
Definition: Requisites. In order to make out a complete case of
self-defense it must appear (1) that the accused did not provoke the
quarrel; (2) that his adversary made an unlawful attack upon him; and (3)
that the means used by the accused in repelling the attack were reasonably
necessary under the circumstances of the case.
