“Senility”
Definition: A condition in which there is a slow deterioration of the higher
entrical process as manifested by gradual progressive and irresistible
impairment of intellectual function as memory retention and recall
irritability and confusion, rigidity of behavior and loss of abstract
thinking. The quality of being senile, infirmity of old age, feebleness of
body and mind incident to old age; and incapacity to contract arising from
impairment of the intellectual faculties by old age.
